Beach is just across the road. Slipper in the room but front room is noisy at its the main road. Sound proving not good.

Dated, broken bathroom, tub sides were falling off and the shower head mechanism was broken. The inadequate a/c couldn’t keep up with its southern exposure. The pool is a glorified bathtub. At 8am there was an overwhelming nauseating reek of pesticides as they doused the entire hotel with bug spray. Seriously! The two stars are given for the two charming women at the front desk(Dhao and???) who are friendly, charming, professional, and helpful. I almost forgot about the bass drum and trumpet practicing out front at 730 am. Bonus points for that!

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Nice room and pool. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the rude lady on reception. She got our room wrong 3 times and then gave us a room which stunk of mould, so we had to change room again. She got incredibly frustrated with us even though we did everything on our behalf correct. For the next 3 days we were there she went out of her way to avoid eye contact and would not speak to us. The rest of the staff are lovely! Not many food places around so be prepared to travel a little bit. I would also not recommend the taxis that sit outside the hotel and poach guest, we had a bad experience with one so I would suggest Uber.

The room was lovely, aesthetics wise and everything actually functioned as it was meant to! View and location were some of the best on our trip! Breakfast was on the average side but plenty to choose from. Honestly I would be giving this 5 stars if it wasn't for my experience with the reception, checking in alone was a nightmare we had booked beforehand and had to change rooms 3 times before we got the room we had actually booked and at this point, paid for too. From then on the reception staff wouldn't even look at us, making the entire stay there feel as thigh we were totally unwelcomed. 5 stars for the room at the price we paid, 1 star for reception.
