  Superb coffee! A very good friend posted me a bag to try, which I an drinking as I write. Normally I always use freshly ground beans, so I was a little apprehensive. On opening the bag you get a delicious aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Add just off boiling water, I used a cafetiere and let the coffee stand for about 6 or 7 minutes. Taking a close sniff of the coffee with hot water in the cafetiere gives a more typical coffee aroma, but the room quickly infuses in spicy chocolate, and rich coffee, very tempting! First sip of the coffee "as is", (i always drink black, unsweetened) was interesting, this was quite unlike my normal South American arabicas, but by the third sip I was hooked! For a ready ground, this is strikingly good coffee. Excellent with a freshly baked croissant, and superb with a home baked cantucci. Now I need to get some beans.... And some day would love to visit.
