  The Rose Garden, which also hosts central library of Hoan Kiem district, is an oasis of tranquillity in the otherwise bustling part of old quarter of Hanoi. If you are tired of walking in the busy streets of downtown Hanoi, head to this park, sit on one of the clean benches and enjoy the view of beautifully pruned garden.

  Peaceful, safe park with benches for relaxing. The grounds are well kept with trees and flowers. It’s a nice place to rest from the frenetic pace of the city streets.

  Very quiet and peaceful, I particularly like this garden - a couple of steps from the cathedral - because it’s so close to the Old Quarter, yet tranquil despite the hum of scooters in the distance. It’s laid out formally with mostly trees and shrubs, and a circular bed, maybe 50 metres from the main road, which usually has orange and purple flowers on show.
